Today we are going antique shopping in Aurora, Oregon.
Just sharing a few new vintage treasures . . .
WWI nurse's trunk
[sold]
Old Stube scale (don't know what type of scale this is;
let me know if you know anything)
Putz houses
An enamelware chamber pot?
and some vintage number flash cards
A country board you can attach papers to ~ I know it looks bad now . . .
but how would it look painted chippy white
or as a chalkboard with black chalkboard paint?
Wouldn't it make a great sign for the shop? What do you think?
White or a chalkboard or a combo of both?

ReplyDeletesome good finds. I would do a chalk board and make it a hook for my keys great way to leave a list of things you need or a great message of the day

What wonderful treasures ~ have fun!
ReplyDeleteDear Julie, What a little treasure trove you have here.I should love the trunk. I used to have one....many years ago now....but I have no idea what became of it and now I really wish that I still had it in my possession. I could place it in my Budapest hall so that it looks as if a special jourey constantly awaits me....
ReplyDeleteYes, a blackboard for your store...lovely!!
What fun treasures, that first trunk is to die for. I love your Valentine's banners too. So darn cute.
ReplyDeleteOOh ...what fabulous finds!! I love the top one especially!
ReplyDeleteI just went off for a weekend of antiquing, too. One of my absolute favorite things to do. Love all your treasures. I think the last piece would make a terrific blackboard.
ReplyDeleteFun, fun! I haven't been antique shopping, junking or anything in weeks. I'm going through withdrawal! lol Can I come along?
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to the party.
Blessings,
