More handmade ornaments

More ornaments for Junk Fest.

Old reflectors with
vintage images, tinsel, cheese cloth
and bottle caps.

Pleated paper with a little French
inspiration.

And a few repurposed tart tin ornaments.

Most vintage images are from

Vintage tree ornaments

I've been busy making
tree ornaments . . .
getting ready for Junk Fest.

 Some vintage reflectors packed
with vintage treasures

Can be a tree ornament or festive
holiday corsage.

Lots of styles . . .
each a one-of-a-kind.

 Thanks for visiting today.
What are you crafting for Christmas?

a frosty, foggy fall morning

Hi friends,
I hope you've been enjoying your fall.

We just returned from a week in New York
{moving our daughter and family there},
and I woke up to this beautiful,
cold, frosty morning . . .

I was surprised to see our Maple tree already losing its leaves

an hour later . . . less frost, more fog

Enjoy the rest of October!

I'll be doing more posts this month . . .
sharing some vintage finds from New York
and items I'm creating for the JUNK FEST
Holiday Flea Market
in Forest Grove, Oregon
November 19.
If you're close enough to come,
it'll be a great place to do some Christmas
shopping and get some items for yourself,
in a gorgeous vintage setting.
It is a hotel if you need a place to stay.

Miniature Rose Garlands

I'm busy creating and making items
for the next Junk Fest . . .

and I have something to share for pink Saturday.

Every other day I've been picking miniature
roses from our rose bushes to make
these pretty rose garlands.

The next Junk Fest will be mostly Christmas,
but a girls gotta have romance too, right?

Some rose garlands will become
tree ornaments or little heart wreaths.

Not only pink,
but white, and red too.

Want to make your own flower garlands?
Just string them on a needle and thread.
Enjoy!

Thanks for visiting.
Hope you're having a wonderful autumn!
Some of our leaves are beginning to change.
