Tag . . .

I'VE BEEN TAGGED . . . by Cindy at Design Love.  Thanks, Cindy.

So I need to share SOMETHING OLD . . .

We inherited this Bible from a family friend. It is dated 1875.
It sits on a desk in our entryway.

New miniature pink roses just picked from our rose garden
(in November . . . can you believe it?!!)

A video my hubby borrowed from a friend. It's an amazing video on the universe.
I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

So . . . if you're here and you want to be tagged, YOU'RE IT!
I know some of you may not want to be tagged, so I'm not going to tag your blog, but if you want to play along, let me know, so I can come visit your post. {I'm not sure if there are rules to this game, but I think you're supposed to post SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, and SOMETHING BLUE and then tag 6 other people.}

I also want to thank Susan from My Place to Yours for the beautiful blog award. I appreciate you thinking of me. If you don't know Susan, please go visit her beautiful blog of ideas.

Thank you to all of you who have chose to be a follower. I am blessed that you would want to come visit. I hope I can continue to encourage and inspire you. I appreciate each of you and every comment!

Remember to sign up for the $35 CSN giveaway [here] ~ it's a free gift from CSN! ~ and you can purchase anything you want. Get started on your Christmas shopping or buy something for yourself. [Some people have had problems leaving a comment; if it isn't working, please send me an email and I will add you to the giveaway.]

Also, as a thank you to YOU, I will be doing a vintage "White Christmas" giveaway the first week of December. I'm already finding some great treasures, and I look forward to sharing them with you at the end of November. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, are you?

Have a wonderful week. I look forward to reading your comments and getting to know you.

~ Julie

  1. Pretty goodies...old Bibles are so lovely...

  2. Hi Julie! So nice of you to stop by and become a follower! I am so grateful. Don't you just love Rosemary? She is so sweet and talented.
I look forward to following you and going thru your posts. That book about God creating the universe looks like something my Husband would like, he's always watching shows about the universe but funny how they never talk about WHO actually created it! I haven't heard of tagging, it sounds fun. I'll have to give it a try!
Oh, almost space is at Mission Galleria in downtown Riverside, CA.
    Sincere Blessings to you,

  3. My favorite is the Bible. That is a real TREASURE!!

  4. Hi, Julie! Thanks for stopping by today. I'm finally making time to do a little catching up on blog reading! Your roses are so sweet (I have a few late-bloomers, too), but I'm with Debbie... your Bible is definitely a treasure! What an ornate cover for such a beautiful and simple message ... God is Love.

  5. P.S. I just noticed you mentioned my blog. Thanks!
