Junk Fest Flea Market

Here are a few pics from Junk Fest,
thanks to The Captain :).
We were very busy all day (yay!)
I didn't get all the vignettes set up (thank you Captain for helping!)
We didn't sit down all day and sold lots.

I made some paper map and sheet music dresses.

Lots of farm stuff from my great aunt's farm.
(sorry ladies, for showing your back sides)

Front booth displays all put together by The Captain.

I made up several dried lavender bouquets and even sprinkled
dried lavender on the ground. It smelled wonderful.
(Thanks for the idea, Vyanna!)
One lady came into our booth and had to leave
because she was allergic to lavender.

Love this old wood house chix feeder; probably built by my great uncle.

I made several chalkboards and a burlap bulletin board.
This adorable dancing couple is now available in my etsy shop.

It was hard to get a good pic of this, but I made a hanging light
from some old garden fencing. We sold it before the show started.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great last week(s) of summer!
Enjoy your time with your kids before school begins.

  2. Hi Julie!
Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my last post! It's always so nice to hear from you! Your Junk Fest display looks wonderful! I'm glad the show was such a big success for you! I have been wanting to do a show so badly but I just don't think I'm up for it quite yet...these little guys keep me pretty busy! I am hoping to do the Street Faire next August! I am planning a window display for Camas Antiques in October which is a big committment for me...but I'm super excited about it! I hope I get to run into you one of these days! We'll have to plan to meet up at the next big show! Have a wonderful weekend and safe travels if you end up going to Boise!
    Best Wishes and Blessings,
    Amanda
p.s. I just hang my roses upside down to dry...nothing special but I do pick them first thing in the morning and choose the ones that haven't fully opened yet. Trial and error!

  4. Is it weird to say that I am so proud of you? Maybe I should say proud for you? And, I know, as Christians that we are not supposed to be prideful, so maybe I should pick another word altogether. :) I just am delighted that you and the captain are able to do this. I know you are loving it. You have got some great stuff, girl.

Can't wait to keep seeing you grow...
