More vintage treasures . . .

Hope you've had a great week!
Today we are going antique shopping in Aurora, Oregon.

Just sharing a few new vintage treasures . . .

 WWI nurse's trunk

[sold]

 Old Stube scale (don't know what type of scale this is;
let me know if you know anything)

 Putz houses

 An enamelware chamber pot?
and some vintage number flash cards

A country board you  can attach papers to ~ I know it looks bad now . . .
but how would it look painted chippy white
or as a chalkboard with black chalkboard paint?
Wouldn't it make a great sign for the shop? What do you think?
White or a chalkboard or a combo of both?

Thanks for visiting. Would love to hear any input you have on any of the above.
Off to Aurora . . .
Have a great weekend!

~ Julie

  2. some good finds. I would do a chalk board and make it a hook for my keys great way to leave a list of things you need or a great message of the day

  4. Dear Julie, What a little treasure trove you have here.I should love the trunk. I used to have one....many years ago now....but I have no idea what became of it and now I really wish that I still had it in my possession. I could place it in my Budapest hall so that it looks as if a special jourey constantly awaits me....

Yes, a blackboard for your store...lovely!!

  7. I just went off for a weekend of antiquing, too. One of my absolute favorite things to do. Love all your treasures. I think the last piece would make a terrific blackboard.
